Iranian short film ‘Exam’ is slated to vie at the Loudoun Arts Film Festival in the US.

The film directed by Sonia Haddad, will be screened at the first edition of the event.

‘Exam’ is the story of a teenage girl who delivers a package of illegal drug to a client and gets caught in a weird cycle of events.

So far in 2020, the flick has won multiple prestigious awards at some global film festivals — a special mention at the 21st ShorTS International Film Festival in Italy and the Best Short Award at the 42nd Créteil International Women's Film Festival in France, to name but a few.

‘Exam’ actress Sadaf Asgari also received the Special Jury Award for Acting at the 35th Sundance Film Festival in the US.

Loudoun Arts Film Festival is a non-profit organization serving as an international platform for independent filmmaking, creative expression and immersive entertainment. LAFF supports emerging and established voices.

The 2020 edition of the festival will be held virtually on September 10-19.
